The unique landscape of the zaanstreek , Jan Greenheart (1952 ) fascinated at a young age and challenged to paint. Attracted to the unknown world of the painter he followed the Rietveld Academy . There he learned to give color and to be in shape and style. Quite significant The baggage he got put him to express his thoughts . He painted landscapes and still lifes inspired by the work of artists he admired , including Paul Cézanne (1839-1906) and Kees Verwey ( 1900-1995 ) . He experimented with materials and style .
