The unique landscape of the zaanstreek , Jan Greenheart (1952 ) fascinated at a young age and challenged to paint. Attracted to the unknown world of the painter he followed the Rietveld Academy . There he learned to give color and to be in shape and style. Quite significant The baggage he got put him to express his thoughts . Polity in The developments can be seen in the work of Jan Groenhart. He painted landscapes and still lifes inspired by the work of artists he admired , including Paul Cézanne (1839-1906) and Kees Verwey ( 1900-1995 ) . He experimented with materials and style . From watercolor to oil , exuberant or just subdued. He discovered that the watercolors offered him the most opportunities to give . Light and space weather By achieving a degree of perfection in this painting technique , he needed new challenges . He traveled to the colorful South America . Everything else is there . In the work that he made in this period, the man and his environment . Striking the colors and the use of acrylic paint . After a year are gone , the artist tries to find in the vast Zaanse landscape.
