Pierre
Belgian, born in Uccle (BXL) on 2 April 1966. The family lives in the Charleroi region and soon, the industrial décor with the relief heaps for steel remains that influence. After a stint at the Academy of Charleroi, he began studying painting at the School of CAMBRE under the direction of painter R.Dudant. Orientation will also under the guidance of painters Lorge, Marchoul, Pasternak and Rolet. (Degree in 1990). Allusive abstraction, sometimes in reference to air landscape or the vastness of space and the power of natural elements, sometimes in reference to the archeology and architectural intervention in nature, creates a permanent dilemma pictorial research from 1988 to today. In parallel to his work as a painter, Pierre Debatty teaches Academies Namur and Charleroi.
