HASSINGER
Antje
Antje Hassinger was born in 1961 in Witten (Germany) and studied design at the Art College of Dortmund. Since 1986, she has been working as a “free˝ artist and has exhibited throughout Europe, both in single and group exhibitions. Antje Hassinger’s work is characterized by her use of soft, warm earthy colors. Her versatility means that she can work in a free, easy style or in more graphic mode. Although more abstract than figurative in style, Hassinger’s work evokes a sense of the ancient combined with warm colors which gives the work an earthy, natural touch. The combination of forms that knot and twist with each other to evoke a conglomeration of various forms is a further characteristic of Antje Hassinger’s work.
